Let's Get Inspired and Tie The Knot

I don't know what has gotten into me that I have been endlessly browsing the web for wedding ideas.Maybe its just because of the wedding I am doing for someone or because I am simply overwhelmed by the wonders of  every details that make one real magical and unforgettable. Just by how the photos deliver each sweet treats on that special day of people I do not even know makes me feel twice as excited for my very own. But that would still be a long road ahead so I resolve to feeling the same excitement for this wedding I'm organizing for a special person.

Browsing through tons of wedding photographs around the web gives me chills. It's like I want to do and create everything from scratch. I know that's so ridiculous not to even mention impossible to do for a one-woman-team like me. But I have trust issues when it comes to crafts and designs, you know. I'd rather do it myself than rely on somebody else and end up not getting exactly what I want. But of course it is so not appropriate on big events like weddings so I really need to find utterly creative people who can create the ideal wedding I want for them. No, scratch that. I mean the Bride and the Groom's ideal wedding. Let me share some wedding ideas that will surely blow your mind and melt your heart as it did for me. Delight y'all!

Don't you just love the retro feel in these? That's a nice color palette, gray and yellow!

so romantic and classy! See more from here.

I like rustic-themed/ country wedding. I admire people who can make backyard wedding look classy and elegant and not cheap. It also gives you the laid back feeling of just enjoying the moment  with friends and family. It's not that I dislike grand ballroom type of wedding, it's just that I don't like the feel that it is more intimidating than being warm and cozy to you and your guests. Also, sort of grand Victorian-like weddings are getting more and more usual.  Unlike with this, you also get to be hands-on on every detail, being crafty and all that. Besides, half the fun of having events is the preparation and how you managed to participate on every phase as the big day comes.

I also like this stripes-inspired wedding. Breezy, cool and casual. More like a Sunday tea afternoon kind of wedding.

There's just something in navy/sailor inspired anything that draws me. Be it on clothes, home ideas, kiddie parties and even wedding!
To a more classy and formal beach/sailor inspired wedding!

So feminine. Classy and sweet and dainty. A little retro-ish too!

Aww. Lighthouse. LOL.

Simple and beautiful.

Nice angle there.
There's also something about white wedding that is so adorable and plain breathtaking. It kind of gives you the impression of sincerity and brilliance. Crisp. Stunning. Moving.

Don't you just love that ceiling detail?

What better way to end it than little sparks? Fireworks are overrated.

I really am happy to be doing this wedding. If it's still not obvious yet, I'm treating it as my very own sans the money, lol. How I wish I have a sister to do this for me on my own time. The problem with having so many different beautiful and utterly creative ideas is having a hard time deciding which to choose. It's always my problem. Well, technically not really for its not mine to decide upon, but still. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed what you saw and read. Until next time!

In my desperate attempt to awaken (if it's still there) the long abed creativity in me, I randomly search the web for something unfashionably interesting. In return, I usually get this sudden rush of interest to create my own version of whatever that keeps my attention span at hold. However, no matter how intense the fervor it brings it seems that it is still not enough to jostle me to actualize these projects. Nevertheless, let me share them to you and you might just get inspired likewise.

I stopped sketching and designing back when time is a luxury in college. I haven't resumed yet so I guess this is what resulted. Constantly goggling for a daily dose of these incredibly conceptualized gowns and dresses.

I would really love to have a dresser like these in my future home! This really made me drool over and over every time I look at it. So vintage-ish, so creative!

I am a sucker for home ideas. This is where I get my sudden itch to renovate and redesign my room or a part of our house (mom is so cooperative!) again and again.

I specifically love these two! I feel like they are easy I can do them myself. Or maybe just the picture at the right. Nonetheless, they will be in my future home that's for sure!

They may seem out of this world but they do exist and I am dreaming that somehow before I die I get to see these places.

I am such a masochist that I would spend hours deliriously looking at these sweet treats no matter how I badly crave thereafter.

Been browsing on random wedding ideas and I stumbled upon this Harry Potter inspired wedding. Genius, well done!

So that's just it for now. Those were just a little bit of everything I fancy. For more, you might want to visit this: ticklishrumbles.tumblr.com

Pig-out Friday

The title sounds so not me, lol. Atleast it doesn't show.

Since last year I have been eyeing Midnight Mercato in BGC. I really wanted to visit the place since it's all about food and feasting. However, Midnight Mercato only opens weekends at 10pm until the next day hence the name. Having a curfew recently swept away my chances of trying it out. That's really sad. And because I can't get over it, Jay suffers a lot from my constant raves about my disappointment. So I guess that's how he found out about another way to shut me up.

He's been asking me to try this instead. This is much earlier than Midnight Mercato and operates on weekdays. It opens at 8pm until the 7am the next day. And as it is shown above, it has three different locations on different dates. It opens is Libis during Tuesday nights, Wednesdays and Thursdays behind Robinson's Forum and Friday nights at Megatent in Ortigas.

But still it doesn't agree with my curfew! So our plan has been cancelled several times before I get to finally try it. Thanks to an evening interview I got an excuse to stay out late. lol Jay went with me to Eastwood last Friday for an interview not having any plans afterward. Suddenly it came to me that Banchetto operates in Libis and I thought it is during Fridays. We desperately searched for the tents, badly starving. Having no luck finding anything Banchetto, I checked the info again and found out Fridays are for Ortigas Megatent!  Fail. BUT I REALLY WANNA TRY IT SO LEZGO. Took the cab from Eastwood to Ortigas (it's traffffffic!)

and ta-duh!

I swear my jaws dropped the instance I laid eyes on these heavenly treats! Gaaaaaah. Thank you I do not know diet.

I took a lot of photos of puto bumbong and bibingka because I was so amazed how it is being cooked.

 PIZZUHHHH.
 UGH. <3

I. went. crazy. We spent half an hour deciding which to eat. I think the hunger subsided the moment I saw foods everywhere. From inihaw to thick slices of pizzas, cakes to shakes, puto bumbong to kimchi and I tell you the list could go on forever! I just didn't know which to order! If only I have enough room in my tummy to fit all there was I swear I could have bought a little of everything! That's the problem with me, you know. I am so takaw-mata. If not for the limited time I have, maybe hours would pass without me being able to decide on which to buy. These were the ones that finally ended up on our table:

 Mango-carrot and Mango-Banana Shake
 Thai Rice. YUMMM!
 Isaw
 Tonkatsu Sushi
 Chocolate Mousse
Blueberry cheesecake! All time fave cheesecake.

Food Coma. I honestly wanted more. I just wanted to rest for a while and start munching again especially one of those thick slices of monster pizza and every flavor of cake and sweets available, really! But oh well. We have to head home already, it was almost 11 in the evening and I just said it was because of the traffic that's why we're not home yet. heeeheee. I just bought my mom a bibingka :).

As to the value of foods, they are so affordable! But if you are like me who wanted to eat everything, that's another story. Because there are a lot to choose from and almost everything is an eye candy, you might get to spend more than your budget. So choose well. I suggest you stick with your budget and be sure to just buy what you can consume. With regards to the ambiance, it was okay. It's not air conditioned tents unlike in Midnight Mercato put up in a parking space between Renaissance Blgd. and DepEd along Meralco Ave. So don't wear heels. Expect smokes all over because grilled foods are everywhere. Other than that, you're good to pig out just like what we did.

Pay it a visit and you'll love it there!
