Last night Jay and I went to Resorts World to watch Snow White and the Huntsman.

Yes I have to make it this big. |
Lol okayy I'll stop.
I must say the movie is really worth watching and I think Kirsten Stewart is perfect for her character. I know a lot of people (especially on my circle) who doesn't like her and I don't know why. Maybe her angst or something? Wutevurrr, I like her.
I think she's the right pick to play Snow White in the movie because it's no damsel-in-distress princess character right there. Her strong facial features works just right with the theme and the story. Not the usual pretty face to be rescued and taken care of. And Charlize Theron is effin' gooooooooood! We even heard a kid shouted inside the theater during one of her mad scenes-lol.
Again, it's just my opinion and you can go tell otherwise. :)
On the other note, do you know there's an upcoming Jack and the Beanstalk movie? It's under the title Jack, the Giant Killer. Like Alice and Snow White, the story's dark and mature.
Eggziting! It's just so cute that the film industry's taking the children's tale movies a notch higher. A totally different take and perspective on fairy tales and the like.
After the movie, we decided to enter the Casino and just look around. We just wanted to know what comes around inside it and how things work for everyone in the entertainment hub. To my surprise, I was questioned in the entrance. You know, it's not really a big thing for me because I know they are doing their job and ensuring minors (20 below) won't be allowed to enter. What struck me was they don't believe me when I said I'm 22. They still asked for ID with my birthday but what I have at the moment was my company ID/ access badge and it's just picture and my name. But hello, that's employment ID right? Which means I'm at legal age. What do you think I am doing in IBM? Intern? On-The-Job-Trainee? I was really dumbfounded. I'm not playing anyway so I thought there's no point in arguing and pushing my luck so we left. But Jay really wanted to enter so we tried on the GF again. I still got questioned but for some reason they allowed me. Finally. Whoooo~
Even until we got home it was still haunting me. I honestly don't know if I were to be happy and just take it as a compliment or what? And then reality hit me. Mukha talaga akong neneng. I don't look like my age. Kahit may anak na ako't lahat mukha pa rin akong nene. And I guess me munching on my chocolate coated Almonds goodies from NUTS ABOUT CANDIES while telling them my age didn't help.

This is what I was wearing by the way |
*Sigh*
Anyway. That was still a real good date night after some time of not having to go out for movies and pig outs because of work. Man, you really have no idea what we are going through inside our office, lol. Jay and I had dinner at Pepper Lunch. I really am not a fan of this restaurant but it's already our 3rd time. It's the nearest to the cinema and the less populated one because.
And then we had a pig-out lunch just within the neighborhood the next morning-lols
NOMNOMNOOOOOoooom hmmmm:) Happy tummy=happy rainee :))
Gaad, if only weekends are always like this. We're getting there, I feel it. Hope work gets to be stable soooonest! Saturday night and whole Sunday to prepare for Amber's party nexweekend!! :))
